Land Alongside Jalan Stasiun Kebayoran Lama Utara Used as Park

A land that previously used by street vendor (PKL)'s stall on Jalan Stasiun, Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, South Jakarta is transformed into a park. To make it more beautiful and fresh, some trees are planted on the land.

"Land that has been planted is about 20 meters length. Besides trees, we also fence off it to avoid the street vendor activities," expressed Waluyo, Head of Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village, Tuesday (7/18).
According to him, there are still leaving 30 meters that has not been planted, because of the limited PPSU members. "We have six members here, we do tree planting gradually. Besides making, the park we also do fencing," he told.
KBT Transformed Into ParkAs for the soil media, he uses the ex-soil that has been dredged in the drains. Thus it does not need much use of fertilizer for the plant.
"For its plant, it is from local people such as red bud plants and also from Forestry Dept.," he closed.
